To raise funds to support educational activities and actualize the expertise of experts at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), ITB established a business entity under the name PT LAPI ITB on March 2, 2004. PT LAPI ITB provides expertise services through 3 main activities, namely:
- Consulting;
- Training; and
- Development of appropriate technology.
In carrying out these services, PT LAPI ITB has supported by ITB through the empowerment of resources owned by ITB, which includes:
- Experts (nationally and internationally qualified);
- Laboratory facilities, which are technologically up to date; and
- Networking, both at the national and international levels.
As a professional business entity and to maintain the name of ITB, PT LAPI ITB always strives to ensure customer satisfaction and carry out continuous improvements through the implementation of a quality management system and strict health, safety, and environmental management system.
Through cooperation with PT LAPI ITB, ITB Partners are expecting to get excellent service quality assurance, and at the same time, contribute to the development of education in ITB.
